Freedom is still unequally distributed among people in India, but we are fortunate among the rest. I remembered one of my favorite quotes while reading this post.
Freedom is not merely the opportunity to do as one pleases; neither is it merely the opportunity to choose between set alternatives. Freedom is, first of all, the chance to formulate the available choices, to argue over them -- and then, the opportunity to choose. Madhurya Prakashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15585773711386151382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16473647.post-33441170599082921622009-08-18T18:27:35.224-04:002009-08-18T18:27:35.224-04:00@Mekie: thanks :)

To them, freedom is being able to practice their tradition, good or bad, with no one to question or challenge them.MechaniGalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01413366075983798794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16473647.post-43628262895500422592009-08-18T18:16:42.668-04:002009-08-18T18:16:42.668-04:00Beautifully written!
